Alita: Battle Angel Reaction

Comments

The look and the NOOO at the end is how we all reacted to the end of this movie. I was surprised by this movie. I saw it because I was bored and I just looked at what was on at cinemas. It turned out to be a really good film and I'm glad my boredom made me go see it. Sadly, we may never get a sequel. The movie did not do all that well in cinemas, it only made just enough money to break even. The only hope of a sequel is if there has been enough fan enthusiasm that the movie makers feel it would be worth the investment to make another one. And this movie definitely has a fan base. And considering the movies that have been coming out lately have not been worth seeing, an Alita sequel might be the thing that gets butts in the seats at cinemas again.

James Cameron is planning on making the sequel to this movie, but he cannot at the moment because he is still working on the sequels to Avatar, as I've stated before, Avatar is going to be a series of movies, much like Star Wars. As it's been stated, Disney now owns the rights to this, if there is going to be a sequel, it will have to be them that James Cameron will have to go to in order for the sequel for Alita to happen. As it stands, they are just in talks about the sequel, nothing more, but I'm sure they will make it, but it won't be until a few more years.

No point of going down the Star Wars rabbit hole. Nobody on this channel has ever even seen the sequels

Talks is one thing, a confirmed sequel is another. Still, great to hear it's a possibility. You're correct that I'm entitled to my opinion about the SW sequel trilogy, an opinion I share with many others. Turns out a lot of people are not happy with destroying the legacy characters like Luke and Han while upstaging them with an uninteresting Mary Sue and then killing them off. A similar thing was done with the all female Ghostbusters reboot which rightly flopped until the awesome Afterlife film came along. That reminds me Homies! Please react to Ghostbusters: Afterlife!

Incorrect! In May it was announced, that there will be talks between Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron about a sequel. . And whether it will go bad or not, remains to be seen. I didn't think, the last Star Wars movies were bad and that's also a matter of taste, so you shouldn't badmouth it to others. You can personally find them bad, that's your opinion too.

I was waiting for the "NOOOO!!" at the end. The movie was set up for a sequel which never happened because Alita: Battle Angel was the last film released by 20th Century Fox before Disney acquired the studio. This means that Disney, in turn, acquired the rights to Alita: Battle Angel, and it is now at Disney’s discretion to greenlight a sequel. As we know Disney fucks everything up it acquires nowadays from Star Wars to Indiana Jones, so perhaps they decided Alita was too cute and feminine as a heroine and Dr Ido was too smart and good as a father figure and as we know Disney likes to wokify everything from creating masculine, perfect leading women to denigrating male characters and fathers. Disney probably rejected Alita also as it was a genuinely cool, creative property and they want to pump woke propaganda wrapped in formulaic regurgitated rubbish down our throats.

If It Ain't Too Much Trouble Man Do You Think You Can Make The Screen Of The Actual Movie Just A Little Bit Bigger Going Forward Please. I'm Just Having A Hard Time Seeing And That's With My Glasses.
