One of my favorites. Interesting thing about M. Night Shyamalan (the director) movies is he always plays a role in them. He was the Dr. in this one and the Vet in Signs. Also, I had bought the DVD to this, ages ago, and one of the features is the director's commentary. The director would comment on the techniques he used in the film making as you watched the film. In this particular movie, the color red was a sign of something bad is about to happen. Throughout the movie, red is used for this purpose such as the tent, the spiral steps, cole's red sweater, etc. Great genuine reactions, ladies. Keep up the good work.

It's really obvious as the gunshot wound to the gut is fatal and we never saw his recovery or any aftermath, he never interacted with his wife or anyone else apart from the kid who sees dead people. I was also surprised how long it took Viki and Lia to click after the wedding ring and the dramatic music combined with the dialogue "I see dead people" lol
