Not Movie but Patreon Suggestions!

More of an idea to maybe get more Patreons. Perhaps release a full reaction watchalong for free once in a while. Not the version with the movie visible, but the unlisted watchalongs on YouTube. That way people could see/hear the extra commentary that doesn't make it to YouTube and will hopefully want more.

I’m not sure how to go about this, but someone else uses common ninja I believe on their polls and it’s very organized. You put in a certain amount of movies for us to vote for and whichever wins gets watched. You could also decide to watch whichever movies almost won. It’s based on percentage of votes, so you’ll have a better idea of which movies most people would watch.

Hey guys, welcome back to the homies comments! Haha I hope you are all doing well! Here goes my suggestion: I think some of us would like to see Larry do a gaming stream every now and then. (If he wants to that is!) He's a gamer and I know they used to react to video game trailers and lore videos. Any of the other homies could join him or he could play solo. (Maybe you can react to more video game trailers, ex...Elden Ring trailer! Haha) Depending on the game, he could play with some of us from patreon too! Anyway, its just a suggestion. I've seen other reactors that propose at a higher subscription, that the subscriber could choose a movie of his choice per month and that would be watched in that month 😃 I don't know if it's possible for you but it's a suggestion, continue the great job you're doing it's just perfect!

I think you're doing a great job, the only thing that's bothering me a bit is the chaos in the google drive folders. Some movies are in the wrong ones and most aren't in any folders at all. Would be great if one of you could take some time to put them in order👍🏼

The only thing that comes to mind is that the audio volume for the movie is just a little too low compared to the Homies microphone. Maybe turn it up slightly. Thanks !!

I have no complaints whatsoever. Love your channel. The only thing I can think of would be to limit suggestions to certain genres (comedies, action movies, 90s movies for example). It might help limit the chaos whenever suggestion polls come up.

Your reactions are great the way they are, so no worries there. But I have a bunch of suggestions for you! These are things that I think would work perfectly specifically for your channel, in particular (might be a couple of posts from me...). Since most of The Homies are party people, most of my suggestions are based on fun things you could film during the filming week (in-between reactions) to make the business week be more like going to a party for games than always “working” (i know you guys said you don’t treat this like “work”, but you know what I mean): 1. Post a YT/Patreon video special of you guys playing like a Homies’ Game: Spin-the-Bottle/Wheel or Russian Roulette (Bulgarian Roulette? 😜) game where where the Bottle/Wheel/“Gun” lands on a suggested movie and that Homie who spun the bottle/“gun”/etc. would have to react to that movie. The rest take turns to see their movies to react to. It can also be done in pairs. Aaand, if you do teams, they can also do Spin-the-Bottle/Roulette to see who teams up with who (Lia + Ellie, Mish + Viki, Larry + Mish, etc.) for the movie. 2. Other games to decide on which movies to react to (also posted on YT/Patreon): a). Throwing Darts on Board that has Movie Suggestions. Each Homie throws a dart to see what movie it lands on. b). Movie Beer Pong - Homie bounces ball in cup. They drink the Jagermeister cup to see what movie is written at bottom of empty cup (or note inside cup, whatever works) 3. Monthly Patreon Lottery. Each patreon has their username written on lottery ball/paper. Tier 1 patrons get one ball/note, Tier 2 get two balls/notes, etc. The ball machine or box that has all hand-written names gets shaken up and a hand goes in to grab ball/note of name. That lottery winner gets to choose a movie reaction. Video of event posted in Patreon. 4. YTube Member Lottery. Same as above, but simpler since there’s no tiers, every “Member” sub gets one ball/note in the lottery. Video of event posted on YT. 5. Some Homies have already suggested this and some have already done this (like The Birds of Prey, Viki said she’d be Wonder Woman for the future Wonder Woman reaction, etc.), but a few more cosplay reactions for appropriate video. That was fun to see. 6. Utilize the Discord, YT Live Stream, and Twitch a little more, for little bit more of interaction time with your fans, like you did with the 100k subs event. If I can think of some good ideas with these, I will post ideas later. 7. Sofi Lottery! Maybe we can think of a game that she’d have fun with, where she would randomly pick a movie that gets reacted to next. Okay, I’ll stop now. 🤣

You guys are the only patreons im subscribed to so i dont really have a way to compare. I love the setup you guys have and honestly having the movie in the reaction its a huge plus. I agree with others that the big group reactions are great for comedies or action movies, but for me when it comes to dramas or thrillers its better with smallers groups or even individual reactions. When theres a big group the girls can get easily distracted and dont really get immersed in the movie. Would love to see old reactions uploaded to google drive. Other than that you guys are doing great, congrats Larry for pulling this off.

I understand you guys might not be much of gamers, but would you consider playing/watching certain story-based video games? There are some game franchises with amazing stories that I think you all would really enjoy.

Honestly, as far as reaction content goes you guys are doing great and I would consider you the gold standard. Outside of that I'd love to see you guys do a games night or something similar like table top/quizzes or video games, just friendly competition between you guys.

The problem with google drive is they have hidden traffic limit and if reached because of downloading it gets locked for 24 hours.

I'd love to see more dramatic/tragic/emotional movies. I big reason I was drawn to you guys is how emotionally invested Ellie gets (sorry if I got her name wrong). I also like reactions when it's the 4 women together (especially for comedies). Direct downloads from Google Drive is the best too. Make sure to keep that link easy to find and keep the drive updated and organized.

Once a month, 1 patreon supporter gets to choose a movie u guys watch. It can be like a draw, patreons who want to enter has to put their patreon username or email down and u guys choose. You guys can come up with rules like: .no gore, horror or sex movies. .films we HAVEN'T seen before. I think this would bring in New patreons.

With the addition of Viki and Lia it seems you have some really good teams now. Lia and Viki have been great when teamed together, and doing group comedy reactions has also been really good. I don't have any criticisms. Plenty of content and lovely reactors is why I've been a Patreon for the last 10 months.

Hi guys. Please you must think about other way to upload and view your media. Most other patreon have multiple ways to view in case of problems. Torrents are a terrible way to supply media as as soon as people stop seeding you can't download again. I only recently started supporting you guys and lots of your past reactions are unavailable, I've asked you to upload them to Google but nothings happened in this regard. I'm still waiting for zack Snyder JL to be added to Google but its not and the torrent is dead!!! You really should interact with supporters in your post's also, I rarely see any replies to comments or requests or questions. When are the other Harry Potter reaction coming? The order of the phoenix is not a full reaction either, it's just the YouTube version, can you upload the full version How about the sin City films or the other quentin tarrantino films also. Guy Richie films and maybe some 80s classics. The polls contain to many films also usually and lots of them are usually garbage films for me, I realise people have different tastes so needs to be more variation probably and not only newer films but older and varied genre. :) Oh and maybe tell Ellie to pronounce the h in hommies clearer, it's sounds like she saying commies as in communists 😂

Limit the number of movie suggestions per person during polls so more people can have their voice/opinions heard during movie suggestions. Maybe limit this to about 2 or 3 movies or so, because some people who suggest more movies than others can affect the potential for some movie suggestions to receive equal exposure in the comments. Also I imagine this would help you guys when going through the list to gather the most voted movies. Thanks and appreciate all you do as it is!
