Why do I write? What's my motivation?

This post should probably go in my FAQs since I get it so frequently in email.  

It's not always asked in precisely the same way.  Sometimes people ask why I write, or what my inspiration is, or where do I get my ideas from.  I suspect some of them may be at least in part fishing for a titillating response.

And it IS true that my stories come from my fantasies, and I do have a pretty kinky, perverted imagination  ;-)

But I would say my biggest inspiration, my greatest motivation -- and I think some of you may know this about me already -- are bad stories.  I truly, truly despise bad stories with a passion.

Where did 'Tara and the Presidents' come from?    I recall reading a story about a super-heroine getting transformed into a futa, similar to my story.  The author had a foreword saying how he or she (almost undoubtedly 'he') really wanted to focus on realism...  then spent a great length of time and inordinate detail describing how the protagonist subsequently struggled to urinate out of both urethras of her respective anatomies.  I'm quite certain that the author thought that was realistic detail (but necessary?  Relevant?  Hmmm).  Then directly thereafter, the character grins, thinks,' When in Rome...' and then proceeds to jack off.

I'll tell you, I don't know any woman in the world who would unexpectedly grow a cock and have that particular reaction.  Talk about focus in all the wrong places.

Where did the Resistance storyline originate from?  It was borne out of the innumerable MC incest stories where the bratty sister knows that the brother has the hots for her and has spent their teen years exploiting that fact, cockteasing him, grinding up on him, using it to get her way, and then inevitably he gets payback.  Those stories make NO SENSE in that it would NEVER happen.

...Or maybe it does happen?  I guess who knows what happens behind closed doors.  I didn't mean for this post to be a big gripe fest.  Not sure why I'm so riled up today.  I think Game of Thrones is to blame =D
