The reaction of Ellie and Michelle to Bambi is at the heart of why The Homies are so popular and unique at Patreon. It's their pure innocense as adult women allowing child-hood emotion to bubble up and escape causing viewers like me to tear up. This was released in 1942, perhaps the sweetest animiated movie of all time while the horrors of WWII was raging in Europe. You cannot produce a film like this today because studios no longer make them with artists who hand draw each frame. They do note the full orchestra which brings out the emotion to the fullest.

Bulgaria joined the Nazi Reich, though no one really blames the Bulgarian people......it was join the Axis, or be occupied by the Nazis instead....then afterwards...the Soviets arrived :( but all that aside....i have not watched bambi in 15 years...........what a good movie! Loved this
