I wasn't sure you recognized the little girl in the bookstore as being the little girl he saved in Turkey. McCall mentioned the "For Sale" sign in the window, indicating he didn't want his favorite bookstore to close so he figure out how to stop the sale was to also save the little girl from her non-custodial father, and he did it all without the mother knowing it was him.

Another great movie with Denzel Washington. He's made so many that are so good, it's hard to choose which one to see next. But, I recommend "Unstoppable" and "Man on Fire" next.
