yeah not a fan of follow along at all.

I am subscriber to The Homies and Magic Magy for 5 or 6 months and they are the best <3 My suggestion is the same as lots of people above in comments: Please try to find a way/New Hosting for watch-along. I Do not mind to pay more money every month for the best movie reaction channel. Maybe make a New Tier with a higher price. I have other movie reactors and as many people know, it is absolutely painful to sync with their Videos because of the different frame rates, which occurs very often

Patreon doesn’t allow increase in prices. I have to make a new tier and people need to change tiers by their own which they rarely do.

If you guys do "follow along" you need more effort into adding a counter, don't make little cuts that throw off the synchronization, and add in enough clips to still make it easy to sync back up if we lose track. It really is a pain in the ass if it's not done right.

You guys are my fourth and newest subs here on Patreon and so far I’ve enjoyed being able to watch the movies with you without having to play my own copy BUT if this thing with Vimeo is going to cause trouble for everyone involved I’d be fine with the synced up watch alongs.

Dear Homies, The YouTube follow along videos are probably the best option. As for what subscribers can do w/ this approach, here’s what I’ve done in the past: For reaction links to unlisted/private YouTube videos in a follow along style format: There are 3rd party apps/software you can get for your computer, (via web browser on your phone/tablet, Linux, macOS, or the dreaded Windows), that allows you to download YT videos with impressive speed & compression rates. The website “y2mate [dot] is” is just *one* of MANY free YT video DL sites you can use in almost any browser on any device. For my fellow Linux and/or macOS users, there is the INCREDIBLE command line interface of “youtube-dl” you can find on GitHub. For more information regarding any of this, feel free to reply w/ questions or additional comments. Cheers.

I don't mind if yo have to put prices up a little for the tiers the way i see it there are some reactors out thr charging double and only putting one video out every few days and with this channel thr is multiple people and multiple videos so most of the prices right now are a steal if im honest.

If it's follow along, I won't stay subscribed to Patreon. Just divide the price increase by the number of Patreon subscribers and increase each membership by that amount. Say 675 subscribers and 675 more dollars for vimeo, increase everyone $1 each. 388 subscribers and 675 would be $2 each.

Yall are your own bosses and all, but if it doesn't make financial sense to do it don't do it. To me it's a luxury to not have to follow along, not a standard. I'd hate to have yall make less money each month when we can more than likely find a free copy. As long as you have the movie blurred/obscured in the video so we know where you're at (some versions have different runtimes due to production credits), it should be okay.

I subscribe to several reactors where you have to follow along, which isn't a really big deal unless the videos are from services I don't have, in which case I can always..find them on the internet, but not everyone is willing or able to do that. I will say that you may have to reduce the watch along price to keep people. $10 was fine with the video included, but many may think that it's too high if they have to also supply the movie.

Doesnt work the traffic is too big and got blocked this is why we went to Vimeo.
