I thought Blood Diamond a good film even with a bad accent. Not only that but it brought attention to the real problem of exploiting native to find the diamonds (blood diamonds).

They have their own "Gojira" police that track down unlicensed uses of the name in an official manner. Basically, it was very difficult for the filmmakers to obtain permission from them to even give this film the Godzilla title.
