He is the guy wearing the black watch cap sitting at the table in the beginning of the movie and I also believe he was on one of the helicopters. He wrote a book also and it is very good as well. The book is also called the lone survivor as well. Enjoyed the reaction very much.

2021-01-22 01:16:02 +0000 UTCThey said they we're 200 fighters , we know from the first report that the taliban we're mostly 10-15 that start tracking them down the minute they drop from the chopper , they didnt have a 35 minutes firefight with them jumping down mountain, you can actually watch some of the firefight on some site from the taliban perspective and from what the friendly afghan said when he check his gear Marcus probably never fire a shot or at least finish a magazine , they didnt have half the US army coming in hot to pick him up saving every one at the end , they just did a regular exchange. Marcus have been changing his story of how many taliban they had fought every time he tell the story , even US intelligence have admit it was pretty much impossible from the terrain and the place to host that many enemy at the same spot.

Prior to that regions most of them were brainwashed into stay guards & oppose any invaders. Time goes in & they got twisted when decided to kill/punishes their own civilians which innocents tribes & families that didnt wanted to support them after cold-war was no more. Regarding 70's virgin the idea was quite radicalized because inside Paradise/heaven you can make any wishes you can imagine so you can see how they played it. Still this extremists are terrorist to killin their own people & harms any innocents, thats so far away from other 2 billions muslims around the world following Islam teaching & implements to their life. peace :)
