I felt the same way as Ellie at this point! Everything felt dark and hopeless and I was frustrated with the show's creators and not really caring about any of it anymore. But true history does get very dark sometimes. And I think it's fair to say that, happy ending or not, this is the darkest it gets, and it's mostly uphill again from here.
