Deviantart issues
Added 2025-07-26 18:01:46 +0000 UTCHi, all! I just wanted to quick update folks on a bit of annoyance here. Deviantart randomly decided to "temporarily lock" my account because it thought there was suspicious activity (me posting the latest Alice chapter) and apparently the only way to get it back is to "send an email" and wait for an employee to decide to answer (which deviantart assures me will be a while because of "high call volume"). This seems like an inefficient system to me and I strongly suspect that Deviantart doesn't have much intent to actually fix the problem. Just FYI, I might only be posting work here and to Amazon Kindle until things get cleared up... unless I can find a new site on this modern internet that's hospitable to long-form erotic writing (challenge level impossible)

2025-07-29 17:21:56 +0000 UTCHearbreaking: The Cheerleaders Chunkers Got Too Fat And Broke Deviantart Yeah but in all seriousness, it following up from Wingman's suggestion, AO3 could be a good shorthand move if this is a short or mid-term locking. You could also try and post stories to Tumblr since they do allow for some longer form posts too (although also run into some problems there Re: moderation). Might also be able to give Writing.Com a return for some uploads/posts for a few instalments, just to cover the bases until it's unlocked. Anyway, here's hoping it's a very very short freeze.
