Keeping it clean, I would probably say that this is honestly a bit too little, dependent on the venue: Considering that we are getting into the warmer weather, if your date is being held outdoors then I would personally advise to add something to help keep your back and shoulders protected, especially if you're in an area where insects are rampant and need to protect against potential bites; if you would be indoors most of the time though, and the restaurant is respectably Air Conditioned, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this top, the cooler air will be a relief on your skin (especially if it's humid outside) and if you need to add something later on if you get too cold then the option will always be there. The pattern that covers the entire bust area is also very decently woven, the texture seems to settle very well with midtones and bright lighting that it helps balance out every other detail around you; this design absolutely settles well for Daytime usage, and for a product with a Black palette it's welcoming to see that there are companies that are making more dark clothing with this in mind, I would absolutely recommend similar textures if you intend to make a larger wardrobe for the brighter hours and even if you stay wearing darks you will benefit heavily from remaining dedicated to patterns of this caliber. (:
