Last Hope 18.2 Release
Added 2022-07-18 03:57:59 +0000 UTCHey Everyone Update 18.2 is out now for all second base backers. Access for first base will come in a couple of days along with any bug fixes needed.
This update is all about some new special events that have been a long time coming but are finally here. These events are unlocked once you have reached the 8th mark on the G.A.I.A and have maxed out relationships with all of the crew. On top of that there is also a new character being introduced that seems to be quite interested in getting to know you very intimately.
As we are getting close to finishing off the G.A.I.A now, with only two more marks left I will be adding the next two mark events in the following two updates. Once that is complete the main story of Last Hope will be complete. That isn't to say the game will be finished as there is still some bonus stuff to see in the epilogue along with the 4th dream.
When it comes to update 19.0 I'm planning to go back and finish off a lot of the events that are yet to be finished currently along with adding the 90% G.A.I.A event. If everything goes well and I have time I would also love to add some new events involving the updated uniforms the girls got a few updates back but we'll have to see how long everything takes. If I don't end up adding them this update they will still be added eventually as I think they'd be a lot of fun to see.
Anyway thank you all so much for your support, I know these updates always take longer than anyone expects so thanks for all your patience. Enjoy the new content and I will talk to you again soon with some previews this time.
The 18.2 update is a full rework of all of the games UI, there are no new scenes but I have improved the hint system if you've been having trouble getting through the game. Some of the UI has been moved from the computer and is now avaliable at all times with the tablet on the player. I also changed the way the shop works as I thought having to collect the items would make it feel more immersive but in reality it was just annoying so now all items are instantly in your inventory.

2022-09-14 12:49:13 +0000 UTCOn one hand the upcoming completion of the game is great news since everything will be there and the scenes will (hopefully) explore all of their potential and options, but one the other hand... I was really looking forward to those updates and the hot new stuff coming with them. Knowing that nothing more will appear will be sad T_T Of course I am not at all conflicted about being grateful for the new version. Thanks :)

2022-07-19 05:16:38 +0000 UTCReally sad that the game will be ending soonish when things seem to finally be taking off. Wish the "revelation" from v18 release had occurred several releases ago since it seems that some of the best potentials will likely not be developed unless there are a LOT of extra scenarios added. With everyone "in the know" now (FINALLY 18 releases in) the potential for sexy times just quadrupled, but not sure how much will be added along that path. I will say, having played all 4 of the new scenes in one game session; the "Watch TV" 3-some was, by far, better than the other 3 new scenes combined and was one of the best in the game, maybe second only to the first Adrianna sex scene (can't remember if that was after giving wine and she was asleep the next morning, or the fancy dinner sex was first with her during development). Adrianna's deep-throat was very nice to see in the sun-tan session and more or less saved that scene since Natasha and the MC didn't really do much there I thought. Instead of just having the MC stare at her boobs, during the BJ, she could have face-sat him and played with her own boobs, or something. During the Natasha & Kat 3-some they did very little with each other, even though Natasha is supposedly the most "open-minded" of the group and Kat had already expressed that she was attracted to women when she'd already fooled around with Natasha and Adrianna before on the couch (that couch has seen some action!) and told the MC she fantasized about the other women in the hot tub truth or dare. All of the 3-somes (minus the alien one) were good to see, but one lacking thing is that the MC really needs to return the oral favors to the women, and they need to start exploring more themselves. The couch 3-some (Adrianna, Kat, MC) stood out because it was *finally* a three-some with everyone actually engaged when the double riding occurred! The only thing that could have made that specific part of that scene hotter (was way hot already) was if Adrianna and Katherine kissed while holding hands. The alien new chick seemed like a waste of bandwidth to develop, although I guess she qualified as a throw-away new scene along with the other alien clone. I know they are needed for the story, and remember when they were initially brought in (not sure if there was dev boredom with the same main crew all the time or just needed story development). However, after playing this game since launch, or shortly thereafter I could not care less for non-crew characters, instead prefer to see more interaction among the main 4 since they are the core of the game. It's been a long time building, where the crew has opened up and embraced their sexuality and the fun and naughtiness that's been occurring, just would like to see that expand much faster since we're near the end. The gas was an interesting touch (skipped v17 when it came out and went from v16 to 18) but I wonder if there could have been a non-deux ex Machina way to get the crew to be a little freer with their clothing, and what they do where. Unless, of course, the gas is what changed their minds about everyone sleeping with the MC being "ok" and allowed the 3-somes, but things seemed to be headed that way already, especially with Adrianna being ok with the idea. Natasha definitely would be open to more group play and Adrianna seems even naughtier than Natasha, she just hides/controls it better. Kat is just addicted to the D, and she likes the other women sexually already so any protest she'd have had with the idea of sharing would seem to have been minor anyway. I do hope v19 redo some of the inconsistencies, like Adrianna yelling at Kat and the MC fucking on the couch, when she could have easily had a 3-way there herself the night before depending on the order the player did the scenes, lol. I don't know how hard it would be to code (or if even possible) but would be really nice to see the other crew react and join in the sex if they walked by. Have Kat and the MC, or Adrianna and the MC screwing on the couch, and Kat/Adrianna walk by and join in, that would be epic. I know some supporters might hate the idea but I think the girls having more direct interaction with each other would be a good touch, either shown like after the dinner party or the MC hears them talking about it. Hell, have the MC walk into the sun-tan room and have Adrianna and Natasha going at it, that would be a sight to see. Anything that adds more exploration of sexuality and more group fun for the MC is a positive thing. Another fun sight would be if the fancy dinner scenes were merged. Have the MC sexing up Adrianna and Kat and Nat making out on the couch, while both groups make comments to and about each other. Maybe they swap part way through. So much potential could be had! After having played this game for so long and FINALLY seeing it picking up steam and beginning to show the potential it's always had, it's a little sad to think that It will end in two more updates. I mean 2+ years of buildup will be done in just a few short months. :( Adrianna is one of the best-looking models I have seen in an amateur AVN/AVG, so will definitely hate to see her go. At times, when the story and development dragged a bit, the potential of finally getting a little "personal time" with her is one of the few things that kept me interested in the game. I think she is even more naughty than Natasha, she just hides it better. Would love to see a sequel to this game where the crew escapes and has more sex and fun adventures exploring other areas of the galaxy. If I recall none of the current game crew will be in the new project, which is a bummer. :( Not sure what the plan is for the story and scenes remaining, and not sure if two releases are enough to really develop some of the items currently in the game like the fake BC pills. They were introduced what, like 8 versions ago, and at this point assume they will likely only matter in a minor blurb for the epilogue. I hope there is much more that will be done with the game, like the expanded group romps, and partner swaps (is it really swapping if they are really all partnered with each other already? :D). I have HOPE, and not the LAST HOPE, that these last two releases add more bulk to the game to fulfill the potential that was so, so late being unlocked.. PoolSide may be tired of working on this project, but honestly, it feels like the game is finally taking off and is just hitting the beginning of the mountain of potential there could be now that things are unlocking, but all good things must end I suppose... *sighs*
