2024-04-06 02:53:57 +0000 UTCYou thinking just for videos or trying out the hobby? Either way, I'd suggest finding a character you like that you feel you'd be good at imitating for a video. As far as costuming, you can either do premade outfits from different stores (I can get a list of ones cosplayers I know use if you like, I do cosplay photography as a hobby) or see if you can do a "closet" cosplay using clothing you own, and either style or modify it to be closer to the character. There's also nothing wrong with creating your own character (think like Dungeons and Dragons) and making an outfit you like, a scenario you may think is fun (goodnight moon does this) and runnign with it, from fantasy ideas, to just creating real world role plays for videos. Short answer, there's no wrong answer.
