FBM 22 - Sorta A Free-For-All

For the sake of giving myself more breathing room and not losing my buffer, the update for this week actually got split in half. This will inevitably happen from time to time becuase the FBM updates (as I draw them) are pretty long.
We get to meet two new characters today though! They're background characters-- but one of them you already saw at the club fair when Harver took the flier. His name is Maverick. And his dance partner/magenta haired friend there is named Izzy.

2025-11-12 20:16:06 +0000 UTCOh no, everyone's paired up already!!! 😔 I guess Keppers will have no choice but to pair up with the next person to join the club… who could this be…? 😔 Also, do people in partner dance clubs in American unis usually not change partners? /gen The folks at my old uni's dance club often switched partners, but maybe that's not how people usually do things. It's a pretty progressive club after all: people lead or follow based on personal preference regardless of gender, don't necessarily pair up in a man/woman fashion and I think many learn both how to lead and how to follow. (Also it's full of queer ppl.) (I say dance club bc apparently that dance style is so French it doesn't even have an English name?? At least I couldn't find anything on the internet. You can look up “rock 4 temps” on yt if you're curious though.)
