I wanted to practice drawing Keplan's bedroom again, since it'll be an important setting in the comic... and also because I know I'm going to regret the architecture of it lol (slanted attic ceiling yaaaay). It's a cozy place though... a little slice of sanctuary even. He may not be able to fit a bed frame in there, but at least he doesn't have to share it with anyone.
Side note-- I really need to figure out exactly what I want to do with the style of this comic. I've been working on sketching the updates, but I haven't committed to doing full line work or full coloring with them yet-- because I can't decide! With TLLT I took a very clean approach-- everything is neat and orderly, and I know the process like the back of my hand. However, it's time consuming and I find that after 4 years of doing the same thing from start-to-finish, I'm kind of burnt out on it. I find myself groaning over the details more and more...
So, I may end up letting FBM be more of a "Sketchy" style comic. With minimal shading...
Anyway, this turned into a cute cuddle scene with the boys-- concept art for sure. I did a version of it at night, and a version of it in the morning with the sun pouring in through the window <3 Cus why nat
