Family History Report

In all honesty, I don't think we talk about Sage enough. And I'm more guilty than anyone, because I tend to favor Beau in all my extra mini comics and doodles and stuff... lol. But, Sage deserves a little spotlight now and again too. For those of you who have read "Honorable Discharge" (The Beau and Sage origin story), you'll know that Sage was not raised by his mom and dad, but by his grandparents. And he had a fairly lonely childhood with strict rules and very "traditional" values. He loves his grandparents... but I think there would be a lot of unresolved sore spots in his childhood (that he didn't even know existed until he has a kid of his own)!
Also-- the horse in panel 4 is obviously not the same horse as Marmalade, but since Sage's Grandparents raised/bred quarter horses... that means that she is likely the mother of Marmalade. And if that doesn't give you the warm fuzzies, then Idk what to tell you.
Dirt, you dummy. This isn't about you. Sage is writing the report now.

He's got the best horse friend :-) Once upon a time I filled out a university psychology class 'compatible personality assessment' assignment (which at the time I was totally bored with) as if looking at things from my horse's point of view... the professor was so puzzled with the results 🤣🤣🤣

2024-04-14 13:32:38 +0000 UTCAwww 😭 Sawyer and Rosie weren’t all bad… Beau had a lot of trauma from his dad cheating on Rosie with his biological mom, and then always feeling like the black sheep of his siblings because he wasn’t with them for the first 4 years of his life— BUT, his parents sorta did the best they could to make up for it. Sage’s grandparents certainly took their anger out on him though that’s… yeah. And they disowned him when they found out he was gay. ☠️ anyway, I’m not disagreeing with your comment!!! I just got sidetracked 😂 Beau and Sage are actually great parents— Sage is patient and easy going and softens Beaus sharp edges. Beau is proud and hard working and will fight anyone who dares look at their kid the wrong way
