You didn't think I would draw multiple scenes around this city and not address the biggest, most well-known trait about New Orleans, did you??? If you don't know what I'm talking about, well-- its the stench.
I hope I can smell it for myself one day.

It’s also worth mentioning in the first panel, I wanted to name the strip club “Tits R Us”. Mccull only gave me “Tits” 😑….. As in the signage!!!!

Plus, it is such a feast for the eyes and ears you get distracted from the smell. What time of the year you go probably matters too.

One of the things I really wanted to achieve with this New Orleans chapter was a feeling of intimacy (and romance) while still staying true to a city that is otherwise NOT very intimate or romantic. Judas is indeed sharing a huge part of himself with Fletcher and in a lot of ways, doesn't even realize it. :)

I’ve read that it’s part of the French Creole side of New Orleans I love that Jude is sharing his culture with Fletch I find it really sweet and in this context quite intimate

Some people say its the constant partying, some people say its bayou, or the cooking grease that gets trapped in their sewer systems. I don't think there one specific answer, so Judas tells us its all of the above!

Seduce Fletch with his voice? We all know musicians are pussy magnets (or dick magnets too in this case)

They haven't just yet figured out a way to transmit smells over the Internet -- be thankful! Judas: LOL you inhaled it like you're smelling daffodils.
