End of Part 1 of Book 2

Hey everyone,

I hope you all are still enjoying the story!

So, Part 1 of Book 2 is finished! It was meant to give Nar and the party a bit of a breather. They managed to Climb after all, so they had earned a little "rest". Besides, it was time to have a fair chunk of worldbuilding to start getting an idea about the Nexus and the Labyrinth (but it was just the tip of the iceberg!). Going forward, we'll start seeing the story ramping up again, especially once past the 2nd assessment and into the big final one.

We will start Part 2 with a few chapters of different POVs (before returning to Nar's) to let you all know what the other members in the party have been up to, how some of the affinities are chaging their classes and how it affects their futures and the party. There are also some very important but subtle things happening in there that will one day be hugely important for the story!

Speaking of these hints, we'll also start seeing foreshadowing/mystery of the overall big plot start to appear more too. Sometimes very subtly and hidden, others screaming in your face, haha!

I want to thank you all for your messages, comments and typo spotting and suggestions. This has been a fantastic journey for myself as a writer, and your feedback has been insanely amazing and helpful in identifying what can be improved in future drafts and books.

I had mentioned before that we were transitioning to a daily release in mid-January. However, as soon as I started releasing chapters, it's like life suddenly decided to kick things up by several notches and mess up all my plans and timings!

Unfortunately, that means that instead of having 7 chapters released per week as I had originally planed for going forward, I will instead be releasing 5 chapters a week going forward (Mon-Fri). This is done in order to preserve the quality and to ensure that I'm faithful to the vision I have for this story. I need to write these books/arcs from beginning to end for continuity, then draft them (once, twice or more), until I'm happy with the end result, which takes me quite a bit of time and which life has just not been giving me! I hope that's okay with everyone, as I really, really want to put forth the best story that I can write!

With all that said, know that The Path of the Last Champion is only beginning. There is so, so, so much more to come still. All of the arcs, all the way to the very ending of the series, are already planned, and I hope that you will all continue enjoying this journey with me as Nar continues to grow, and rise to heights he could've never even begin to dream of!
