Flawed Orb Guard Bracer: One-Sided.

Greetings All!

This is built around a mixture of Aura and Spells, being on a time limit that is rather generous for use. The Discord voted Very Rare without attunement and I am tending to lean that way as well. If you have any questions, voice them. I’m going to be taking it easier but generally around today.

Description:

These ancient bracers were a staple of a long lost royal guard whose name still carries whispers of their defensive formation and protection. The bracer itself is snug, consuming the user’s entire forearm as it hums with a sacred purpose. It is a combination of polished stone and metal with a brilliant but flawed sparkling orb held at its heart. This is a core reminder that these bracers, while powerful, are but an imitation of the original Orb Guard said to have held armies at bay.

• This Bracer has 2 Activated settings that can be changed as a Bonus Action. Due to the flaws in the orb, these features can be harnessed for a total of 1 Hour, all at once or in several shorter intervals, each one using a minimum of 1 Minute from the Duration. The orb regains all expended time from the Duration daily at Dawn.
  • Shield Arm: The energy of the orb can be formed into a tangible shield that fills the user’s hand. This projected energy grants a +2 Bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to a shield’s normal AC Bonus. The user can only benefit from one Shield at a time.
  • Projected Cover: The energy barrier expands to a 10ft Dome that travels with the user. Any Attack Roll made by Ranged Weapons has Disadvantage passing into or out of the barrier.
• Leaking Aura: When not on an Active setting (Shield or Projected Cover), this orb grants a passive boon to all creatures of the user’s choosing within 10ft. Each gains an additional +1 to Saving Throws while in the area.
