Chieftain's Judgement: One-Sided.

Greetings All!

This one started as a bit of a mystery, and I kept going back to what I remembered of Conan’s father sword with some outside influences. Thus the Chieftain was born as you see it.

While the heft of the blade made me want to go initially strictly greatsword, having dont a greatsword recently and seeing a good case for it as a longword. I settled on both, as well as adding in some more abilities to flavor.

Thoughts very much welcome, and I would love to see your thoughts on this one.

Description:

This blade holds a long history with the tribes of the sacred steppes, carried among their leaders for generations. It has become storied in weight and responsibility. While occasionally thought ceremonial due to decoration and flat tip, a firm chop from this blade removes all doubt of its effectiveness. It is said a blow from this blade carries the strength of all those who carried it before.

• This weapon grants an additional +2 to Attack and Damage Rolls
• This blade holds 4 charges and regains 1d4 expended charges at Dawn. The charges can be used to replicate spells in the following ways.
  • Sunderer: 1 Charge, Bonus Action. The blade deals an additional 1d6 slashing damage for 1 minute.
  • Empower: 1 Charge, Action, the user’s strength is increased to 18 for 1 minute, having no effect if the user’s strength is already 18 or higher.
  • Mighty Blow: 2 Charges, when hitting a creature with a melee attack. The blade's weight lashes out with echoes of past wielders. Dealing an additional 2d6 Slashing damage and forcing the target to make a DC:16 Strength Saving Throw or be Knocked Prone.
