Offsetting the Very Rare’s this week with a simple but tactical Uncommon. A combination wand inspired by the ‘Detect Magic’ wand of the SRD. This is geared more towards balance and uses of the good vs evil spells which are often overlooked.
I wish I could share with you how people roll 1d3 (again inspired by the actual uncommon wand) but those old magics are lost to us. The balance of having two spells, albeit one that is far less used than the other, was too good of a chance to pass up. It added to the flavor in just the right way!

Description:
A simple design, at its core is a single piece of granite cut into a thin wand with angular edging. The masterstroke and key element is the transition of the wand from a sharp black to a fading white, all in one continuous stone, giving it an iconic appearance without the hallmarks of flare. Fastened around the base is a small golden band bearing an inscription.
Tabs:
- This wand has 3 charges, regaining 1d3 charges daily at dawn. While held, the user can expend charges to cast the following.
- Find the Balance - 1 Charge, as an Action. The user may cast the Detect Good or Evil spell from the wand.
Tip the Balance - 1 Charge, as an Action. The user may cast the Protection from Good or Evil spell from the wand, up to a range of 30ft.
