Who doesn’t love an underdog? I enjoyed the chance to take a swing at this classic.
Broken Avenger: I have had a deep appreciation of the Holy Avenger ever since encountering it for the first time in NWN, the game adaption of 3.5e. The game that introduced me to D&D just kept on giving, with online communities, epic storylines, and this happened to play a key role in that. Like everything in this world, over time those communities faded away and left only lingering memories. That combined with the tales of forgotten broken blades with a glimmer of revival? It almost built itself. This also is one of the first multi-tier growing weapons to get its second phase and one of my first creations that was actually used in play, with my main character matching the tattered broken vibe.
