I had the idea for this ending as I was drawing the original. I think it is too subtle and ambiguous for some people. I personally like ambiguity when it comes to horror.

I made some changes to the final panel before releasing this. I just wasn’t happy with how he looked and that the angel kind of disappeared.
I also changed the length of his beard in the first and third panel.

The genesis (pun intended) for this comic came from me telling my husband how Mormons do things like durfing, soaking and jump humping as if they’re pulling one over God. Like is God going to see them soaking and think “ah, dang it, that’s not real sex, that’s just soaking; they got me there!”

Before I got a corgi, I was not prepared for how often I would hear “can I pet your dog?”
I don’t mind, in fact I think it’s good for Ramsay to socialise with strangers. He tends to get very protective when I’m walking him alone. He doesn’t realise he’s embarrassing me when he barks at a random family walking down the street.

I started by drawing this from this lower angle and then suddenly doubted myself and quickly drew it for more of a flat angle (4th pic) before I posted both on my close friends Instagram story and asked for feedback on which angle people prefer. They preferred the first angle, and so did I.
I turned the 🖕 hand around in the final version. The small hand here just didn’t look as good.

This was one of my earliest comics from 2020. I’d been wanting to redraw it for quite a while now. Since returning to making comics I’ve been making a conscious effort to do some things differently (more vibrant colours, dots for pupils, etc) but it’s fun to look at the natural progression of how different my style has become over 5 years.

Thought I would share some of the working images from Girl Meets Corgi.
I slightly changed the character designs as I was going so they became easier/quicker for me to draw.
Don’t know why I drew the little girl so ugly the first time. But I’m glad I came to my senses and changed it. Those on the Gotchies tier who are on my Instagram close friends story saw that as it happened.

I drew this comic on in Christmas Eve 2024. At this point I had decided I was going to make comics again but as you can see, my drawing is looking a little rough! I was also experimenting with how to do the backgrounds/ panels.
Anyway, as someone who is quite short (156cm/5’1”) and has been in a relationship since before Tinder was even a thing, I’ve never related to the weird height standards some people have. I think my husband is like 5’8” or something, I’m not even sure...
