Added 2022-10-14 02:08:18 +0000 UTCTo be honest, now I'm starting to get paranoid about uploading my sketches and WIPs. With this AI thing, a new (and more sophisticated) mode of art theft has been created: Having an AI autocomplete a human artist's sketch.
Until very recently they did that to a Japanese artist. During a streaming, someone took a screenshot of his sketch, autocompleted it with an AI and accused the original artist of being a thief. What's my point? That I can no longer simply my sketches for fear that someone will take them and autocomplete them with an AI.
I know AIs can't draw hands well and can't consistently draw complex scenarios where there are lots and lots of characters (as in my illustrations), but still, I feel "vulnerable".
I do want to share my sketches with you so you know what I am going to do, and I will continue to do so for the sake of transparency.
