2025-01-14 02:36:39 +0000 UTCOne more thought in support of auto-saving: kids will forget to open the OSD before turning off the system or changing games/cores. If the concern is writing at moment of reset/poweroff, the risk is no greater than it was with the original consoles, is it?

2025-01-03 05:10:24 +0000 UTCWhen opening the OSD and it does the auto-save, is the delay artificial? I wouldn't mind opening the OSD to write to SD if I could do it more quickly. I'm assuming we're just writing a few kb for something like a SNES game.

2025-01-02 21:40:08 +0000 UTCThe way it made is to control the moment when writes to SD card happens. Otherwise it may happen either when you turn MiSTer off or press reset button which will corrupt the file system.
