2025 Wrap up and plans for 2026

Hi all!! I want to thank you for sticking with me this past month, things got really slow here while life outside of my Jakal work got chaotic— nothing bad, it's just Christmas and I also run an Etsy store that makes stuff people buy for Christmas AND I build my own Christmas gifts AND I was hosting visiting family/friends— But I've got exciting plans for 2026.

First, to wrap up old business I'll be working to finish a December giveaway or two before opening January's (and the hope will definitely be to get to more of those this month) and the final (supposed to be regular) Jakal's Odd Jobs.

Yes, Jakal's Odd Jobs is coming to a close as a consistent month-to-month event (I mean it already did since I failed to keep up.) That doesn't mean I won't be doing ANY Jakal's Odd Jobs in the future, just that my focus is going to be on a new comic.

Starting this month, a new nanite-based comic will start. It will cover the beginning of when Jak was infected by the nanites (and got stuck for a while) and go a bit more in-depth on Jak and Jen's friendship/dynamics while fleshing out those original nanite pinups that originally got me the attention I have today. The goal is two strips a month, once this gets rolling.

AND THERE IS ANOTHER. Jessie Star and I are working together to bring you a medieval fantasy adventure called Wench in the Works, part of Jessie's Roguish Ends universe/story collection. The goal there is two illustration releases a month (a strip and a pinup) and a story to go along with it. The pitch is the roguish thief, Jac of Nanitamon, owes a debt to the owner of the Roguish Ends tavern, Jess, and of course the best way to do that is as the tavern's new Wench/potion tester.

Commissions: I'm reaching the end of my long list of old commissions, outside of YCH comms, and am hoping to open those back up this month with new prices and a new sheet. YCH will likely continue as usual, and I'm giong to bring back weekend/stream sketches in some form for those who want to get something from me without breaking the bank, and I may be offering physical commissions. Not prints (unless I can find a website to do that? Stickers too?) but inked and marker art that will be shipped (I need a PO box lol.)
