This might be best comment of 2026 so far 🥲 I Try my best to keep put all my thoughts out loud so I can get yall as close to my understanding/train of thought as possible. I really really appreciate hearing this from time to time because even with me pausing a lot to talk there's also like a mental timer in my head knowing that I've paused for too long, or I'm going in circles now, or this is off subject, so I'm always rushing to get back to playing even if I'm pausing too long because I also know some people don't like the rewinds and too much pausing. So I'm glad to know it's appreciated! I really have more fun with these type plots knowing I understand what's going on before they drop a bigger confusion on my head lol. AND the John Titor part definitely had me tripped up, but I came up with a better theory as I got more info at the beginning of ep 17 I think? Once we used the machine is when it clicked for me. Glad yall are enjoying the series. Feel free steer me back on track if my theories ever get way off track

2026-01-28 07:51:20 +0000 UTCI think the part that tripped you up about John Titor is that, in ep 1 before the first d-mail, John Titor already existed. Probably Suzuha but we don't know yet. However, after the d-mail, we move to alpha(?) worldline and John Titor didn't exist. Because Suzuha, the John Titor of this worldline, is currently in 2010 aka the present. At least that's my understanding... Lastly, Jay. I say this with no exaggeration, but you are one of the best anime reactors I've ever seen. You theorize, pause, rewind the part you missed, and much more. It goes to show your dedication and passion. Steins;Gate is well known for their complex plot and characters. However, it's viewers like you who can appreciate its beauty to the fullest extent.
