Yo glad you to this part. One of my favorite sections in the series. Couple of things to clear up. 1.) You probably noticed but the bombs are completely silent. It gives off that perfect murder vibe with no possible evidence. 2.) You hit the nail on the head with the button being separate from the jacket. Now if a broken part of that button fell off and the remaining part was on the jacket, then that would work. 3.) When Kira chopped off his hand and tells Sheer Heart Attack that it's free, Kira is referring to Act 3's gravity effect. At the time, Kira only knows Josuke can heal but not revert/reverse.
