She’s the person who was switched at birth with Mac, she dates Dick, and she was the one that spit in Veronica’s drink the night Veronica was raped at Shelly Pomeroy’s party (she called it “a trip to the dentist” which was the name of the episode about the night of the party, the penultimate episode of season 1). Just an FYI

2024-07-30 04:38:37 +0000 UTCI honestly like Hannah. Her dad is a creep but she seems sweet and genuine and I thought her and Logan had chemistry. I get wanting to see Veronica and Logan together but Hannah seems to be caught in the middle of Logan’s scheme to get to her dad where she doesn’t really deserve.

2024-07-24 21:19:48 +0000 UTCYeah, like, I can just about grasp it from the Watsonian angle, why a rich white boy character growing up on the media of the time would think that's a fun way to prank his brother. The Doylist angle is what gets me though. The writers could've chosen any number of other ways for Beaver and Mac to get back at Dick for messing with them. Them choosing to make the punchline "you touched a tranny, idiot," is typical for the time, but is also what leaves me feeling uncomfortable these days.

Looks like someone on Discord has already reminded you who Hannah's dad is. He was in a couple of earlier episodes. I'm not sure how I feel about Mac and Beaver weaponizing transphobia to prank Dick. Those kinds of story beats were of course highly prevalent at the time this was made. It could've been worse, I guess, but still kind of uncomfortable to look back at today, at least for me. Maybe others enjoy it since the transphobe is the one humiliated in this instance.
