ANGEL <3

I have been revising tons of scenes involving Angel, who is a very elastic expressive character, each board artist has their own way of drawing him (which is normal) and I try to keep the essence of their work, but I'm curious if you guys think this is distracting or if it works cohesively?
(also for the top ones, angel's legs can bend like that, when they are straight it's literally him stretching his leg to tip toes)
So I can keep it in mind going into animation and revising in future! I feel like he still looks and feels like the same character, but wanted to know what you guys think <3

Angel definitely looks like a rebel like character, like if he is suppose to be supressed by family traditions but never gets the light that some other relatives gets bcause of how screwed up he actually is

2017-10-09 13:23:18 +0000 UTCTo me, I all ways thought having slightly different ways of drawing a character(s) between storyboard artist to be really interesting. But a casual viewer would probably not even notice the difference. A character like Angel will definitely be awesome to see brought to life with animation!

2017-10-09 11:35:30 +0000 UTCI think it works! because I would be MORE concerned if your drawings/animations were more withdrawn and conservative in the character's expressions. One of the unique elements about animated characters that Angel REALLY expresses well and what is VERY likable about him is he isn't all just TALK, he's a "Show and tell" animated character cause he uses his body and facial language as well!
