Animation "Alone time" now has sounds.
Added 2023-08-08 10:10:56 +0000 UTCRelease posts have been updated with new links to sound version.
Here is the 720p version
If you have any feedback regarding the sounds, for example, do you think they fit a kobold? How could they be improved or do you have any examples of something you consider better? Then please do share your thoughts.
Me and especially Jl017 would appreciate it.

I'm here precisely because your characters are truly exotic, and the voicing adds to that and works for me. There is no shortage of rubenesque human bodies with tails, heads, and maybe feet of [critter]. Some of them are even synched to "Oh, Oh, O!" tracks that sound ripped from Pornhub videos. Your characters are unique in that they are not human-like, and I love that. The way their bodies are built, the way they move, it all underlines that this is not a human wearing a mask. I particularly love the quadruped-as-needed locomotion of some of your species. The sounds fit, IMO, for a creature with non-human physiology, and I love that. The variety and layering of sounds reminds me of the way a starling or a parrot vocalizes, maybe a hint of gecko vocalizations. For me, another greatly appreciated underline of the fact that these are non-human hedonists that we are privileged to peep in on. Compliments to Jl017. This is some inspired audio work. I'd love to hear more about their influences and process, if they would be willing to share.

2023-08-11 04:31:37 +0000 UTCI am not a sound expert, so take the following with a grain of salt! The technical aspects seem very well-done, everything is audible and balanced, the sounds seem to have placement in the world, and the vast majority are timed excellently. The environmental noises relating to steps and penetration fit perfectly and are varied enough that I didn't recognize any repetition. To me, the kobold's noises felt too varied, like they were coming from a spectrum of voice boxes/communication methods. The cetacean-like chest rumbles generally sound like they come from a larger body, but there's also some from cats/rodents(?) that are definitely from a small throat/mouth. I think I recognized a bird trill or two ~1:56 that also confused my conception of how she's producing these noises. I don't know how limited sound libraries are, but it make for a more cohesive profile if they're pulled from the same 'family' of animals. Overall the density of the sounds was good! I personally loved ~0:15-1:01 as she slowly sits and savors it, with the major changes getting emphasized with noise. There are some spots that feel a little -too- dense without much happening, like 1:23-1:27. Also, during the buildup to the climax (2:21-2:29), she makes a lot of complicated sounds when most people would just be breathing, grunting/moaning, or using single-syllable words. Perhaps it would be worth using simpler staccato sounds, that would match heavy breathing or panting? Lastly, and this is pure personal preference, I think the actual 'starting climax' sound could be louder, letting it rise above the volume of the other sounds to let the viewer know its importance and how strongly it's affecting the character. Again, I don't know sound engineering, so I don't know how hard that is to do without having a 'TV commercial break' blowout. All that said, I still love the work that has been done here and greatly appreciate Jl017 using their talents for these! I'm sure countless hours have gone into the various sound versions, creative endeavors are rarely easy and these are as lovely as the animations themselves. Thank you again, and I hope you can continue to work with Dzät on more in the future!

2023-08-10 04:27:04 +0000 UTCI admit I always imagined kobolds as small lizard people, with small person voices. Some D&D games have them making ‘yip’ sounds in between sentences, which I imagine is a short high-pitched yelp of excitement. These sounds would be a good fit for a dinosaur. (Do we know if dinosaurs played with toys? Well… we don’t know for sure that they didn’t.)
