Added 2021-12-17 13:00:36 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Gonna put some more of my thoughts into words. I mentioned in one of previous posts, that I was planning to close my Patreon in a few months. Because I wasn't sure which direction to take it. And I'm still having conflicting thoughts on the matter but deciding to close it was probably an overkill on my part. I appreciate the artists who can put out monthly art packs and a lot of pictures steadily. I'd love to do so myself, but I can't produce as many pieces as some of popular fur artists, nor can I focus on NSFW arts only or I'll lose motivation to draw altogether. Still managing Patreon gives me some stability and discipline, and I don't want to lose that. Your support helps me in honing my skills and realizing my ideas.
However my creative process is pretty haphazard and chaotic. I can have a long period of only drawing anthro cow characters, then a wave of motivation to draw only horses, then suddenly get an urge to draw birds or snakes. One day I might want to draw a scenic nature pieces, the other I suddenly feel like drawing a sexy pinup of a furry girl in bikini. I don't like it but following these sudden urges is essential for me to keep on drawing. But when Patreon obligations start conflicting with these quirks it gets stressful real fast. So I might still change the format for running Patreon that will be the perfect middle ground and would work best both for you, the supporters and me.
