Politically neutral conversation topics prepared for a dinner table full of family members you aren't particularly close with? Well on my end my present to me is that I'll be taking Christmas Day off this week. Meaning TRW will post on Friday instead of the usual Thursday.
I don't really need to take the day off, I guess. I'm hundreds of miles from my nearest family member and I visited them all last month. But I find there's something inherently sad and even kind of silly to be your own boss and still make yourself work on Christmas Day. I don't want to give myself any crazy ideas about unionizing so I think I'll take it easy this Wednesday.
