Thank you for waiting. On behalf of myself and Kaldonis, I’m proud to present the story-complete build of This Romantic World: The Game!
Does that mean this is the absolute final build?
No. Just that the story is now able to be completed. There will be one final update after this where we address bugs, typos, music placement, continuity errors, canonical inconsistencies, (such as Miss Holt still being referred to as a current milf even though I scrapped that idea ages ago,) and any other issues that might pop up.
If you're interested in getting your name in the credits, now is the time.
If you pledge $15 between now and the final Steam release, (which could take up to a month or so depending on the aforementioned bugs/tweaks) your name will be permanently in the credits of the game. Even if you pledge for one day and then drop back down, that’s enough to get you in for keeps.
Please try and break this game.
Seriously. I ask that you do your best to find crashes, sequence breaks, typos, and anything that just flat-out doesn’t work and report them to me or Kaldonis in any way you prefer. Any personal critiques or reviews you have are also welcome. Also, this is the first time we have done a Linux build and we are unable to test it ourselves. Please let us know if you find issues there.
So what happens next?
Next, we announce the new projects lined up for Switchverse Games in 2023! We've got some big stuff to start working on once the visual novel is 100% complete. Expect to hear from me again on the matter very soon.

2023-02-03 06:50:07 +0000 UTCGod That was a brilliant ending ngl I fucking love this little universe of characters that you have created. love how the game answers some questions i had about crawler lore in the comics and now i just want to see more switch , more crawler and MORE LYDIA in the comics (also maybe a little scene of Casey and Isaac talking about switch would be great wish fulfilment)

Sorry for the slow reply I was getting the hotfix sorted. There's a save that should work for you there. However, if you want I can take a look at your save and see what's happened. This was right after I'd give Chloe the video of Casey and Bria and did the morning bit with her. "Couldn't find file 'characters/chloe/chloe blinksexy.png' Also, Lydia asks if you're ready to 'Reherse'.

Unfortunately, after giving the footage to Chloe and getting my "reward," the game seems soft-locked. I can't find any way to progress the narrative, and the scene in the park seems to show up every single day.
