NEWs
Added 2024-02-27 10:59:01 +0000 UTCOk, now that we have a somewhat complicated system for sharing, let's try a more direct one, with the image encrypted and sending the password.
Do you find it more comfortable like this?
(I personally think so, besides it makes things a little easier for you and me, even if I have to make a second change, because I will change later, so download the image, decrypt it and enjoy it).
By the way, you may need to install 7.zip, it's free and doesn't take up any space and it's super easy to use. Although it is more comfortable and easy to decompress it with WinRar.

Both contents, like the link I publish here and the one I send by mail, are hosted by google. And I would like to say that the measure is temporary. But little by little we will improve it, unless the Patreon support does its job, and improve the web, to avoid this kind of theft and external profit.

2024-03-11 09:02:46 +0000 UTCAs I mentioned in the prior post, the encryption felt clunky. Google Drive is the best and most universal option. One possible issue with Google is that the link apparently expired by the time I clicked on it. I honestly can't always view the notification emails right away ...

2024-02-27 20:03:58 +0000 UTCI can't open exe files on my system. The 7z however, I was able to extract via command line.

2024-02-27 16:23:58 +0000 UTCThe problem I'm seeing with the drive is that a few people, for some reason, don't receive my mails.luegi Drive, dripbox, Onedrive, give problems when it comes to massively leave users with whom you share. Another thing is having to constantly be re-creating links for people who need a link, you send it to them, but they don't check it until it expires, and back to square one. I'm generating a new link every hour or so because someone has missed it. So now I'm testing the link with the encrypted image. Easily accessible and downloadable, and with the key sent separately to decrypt. I have been testing, with help, the autorun mode, and it is the most innocuous mode. Since the only inconvenience would be for me to store the key, everyone else, once the image is decrypted, would no longer need it.

2024-02-27 16:07:13 +0000 UTCI think the most pain-free system is probably to have everything in a google drive or similar and have the password to the drive changed every so often. The new password is then either messaged to patrons or posted here on the channel and the old password removed to avoid confusion. I've seen other Patreon pages do this without any serious issue. This ensures only actively paying members have access without significant investment in effort.
