Takes me 20 times longer to even guess at times, and I erase way more, lol. Watching you shade is like a magic trick- I usually prefer "sketchier" content from other artists, but your stuff actually gets better with each passing step. I noticed that during commissions, too- most artists, I often like their sketches better than their finalized version (which can lose a lot of energy via the refining process). That's NEVER true with your stuff. Every successive step looks more awesome. Like with Casey in TRW, this is another reminder of just HOW busty the other girls are. I was kind of forgetting it, as the TRW cast is almost universally less-chesty (especially so far), and even your commissions are sporting smaller breasts these days. So now Casey & Bria just look SUPER HUGE. I'm sure the bustier look is the more popular one, but I'm preferring the medium-sized ones these days :). I know a lot of artists (especially in advertising) who HATE the whole "learn a brand-new program every six months" aspect of the game, so good on you for using "out-dated" technology :). As a super-luddite myself, I can appreciate it. I'd imagine it's a huge step back for artists to suddenly mess with a whole new medium, and would be agonizing to someone on deadlines. The light on the bottom of the chin is interesting- I think it looks weird on girls because it emphasizes the jawline, making them look less feminine, because we associate that with dudes. I've noticed you erasing your collarbones from sketch-to-finish frequently as well. It does look better when it's a bit more subtle. Those bones are rarely so visible in anyone who isn't anorexic.
