Added 2018-04-20 02:22:49 +0000 UTCShort as this scene was, (and despite it lacking any kind of real sexual content,) I felt it necessary to include it early on. The way I figure it, not everyone coming in on TRW will have read Switch, or is aware that this is a sequel for that matter. So for the uninitiated, I wanted to present the fact that there are supernatural elements in this story sooner rather than later.
I'm no expert on writing, but I suspect that if you're going to have fantasy creatures erupting from the ground beneath a red sky in your narrative, that's not the type of thing you just drop out of nowhere on page fifty. But what do you guys think? As always I'm happy for the feedback.
