Status Update - Fast-Moving Life

Time flies when you're having fun! ~and when you have self-imposed deadlines.
Unfortunately, development on the coming update, while still happening, has been stalling for a bit. With 50k words written, I am doing steady - yet slow - progress. With how development has been happening in these last few updates, I am unable to effectively estimate how long things would take, or how many variations to anticipate for any given scene.
I am writing a lot of different things that eventually need to be rewritten to account for a change earlier in the story, or to account for a scene being seen before another. There's a lot of back and forth, and that has been having its weight on the time it is taking for each scene but also on the mental capacity of juggling all these variations.
Adding to that the fact that some scenes and entire storylines are being missed out on simply because of a faulty code somewhere earlier down the line, and things get really frustrating as they are being developed. A part of me wants to revisit everything to fix the code, maybe make things a bit more linear, re-write scenes to allow for a more streamlined experience, but I am afraid of what that would mean for current supporters of the game.
I am at a loss a bit, and despite still working on scenes, am realizing that there's something that needs to be fixed in a more fundamental manner to ensure the game is completed the way it was intended to be.
I'm working on it, and will continue updating you as time goes by.
Hopefully the solution will be a simple one that won't require new playthroughs. So far it isn't.

But to be honest, I still hope there can be an update once a month. It doesn't have to make significant progress, but it brings a sense of reassurance. A stable update, even with minimal progress, allows me to have something new to play each month and keeps me looking forward to future updates. It's like reading a serialized web novel.

Personally, I think slow updates are better than long periods without updates. Considering the current sharp increase in workload due to the number of branches, as well as the visible slowdown in updates (0.72) and decline in quality (0.71), if some side branches are causing difficulties for the current updates, it is entirely feasible to cut off some side branches in their entirety or put them on hold. In terms of the diversity of storylines, it would be better to wait until the main storylines (six friends—ps: Angela is an interesting good friend for me) have a complete flow, and then fill in side branches to enhance the game's integrity. Personally, this approach could extend the progress days of each update and allow for the addition of more side stories within a complete narrative framework. DLC is a great option. (But I'm just a gamer, not a developer. If this would make development more difficult, please disregard my suggestions.)
