Looking around at the venue for my upcoming solo show has given me major anxiety. Seeing the size of the stage, I'm starting to panic, questioning my own ability to headline a show like this. Thank goodness you're with me. You take me backstage to calm me down. You always know just what to do to distract me from my stage fright...
Having a background in performance and theatre, I can say this one came fairly naturally to me and I love the way it turned out! There's something comforting about sitting at your make-up table, centering yourself, focusing on what you have to do that night on stage. Of course, in this scenario, the make-up table is used for other ways of centering oneself, and they seem like they could be just as comforting, and maybe a lot more fun? I'll let you decide!
As always, I'd love to know what you think, so comment or send me a DM! I hope you enjoy!
