Little update...

Setting up the last scene of Product Recall 12 right now, releasing this week.  

I wanted to thank everyone for making all this possible.  I've kept my day job through all this mostly out of security and because... well, who knows why I kept it so long before doing something.  I've had this project going for 4 years now (a bit more, I think?) and through the pandemic, my team at work went from 3 to just me.  They wore me out and I can't take it anymore.  I also have this makerspace project with a friend (who I work with at that same job) and now that we're paying rent on a workshop, I feel bad whenever I'm not working on that project because I'm burning money away and if I'm there, I feel guilty I'm not working on the girls.  All of that is if I don't come back home from work and fall asleep at 6h30PM...

All this time, I was holding off cutting my hours because the labor shortage here means now that they want to fill the team again, no one's biting.  Whenever they found me a partner, it's always a part-timer in college and they leave as soon as class starts, so we never got someone to get good enough that I could cut my hours and I don't want to leave them hanging because part of it is family business.

So cut to now.  I'm done waiting for them to fill that second spot.  I'm not leaving but I'm cutting 2 days off.  I don't care who or if they fill that second seat.  I cannot mentally and physically take it anymore.  It's entirely their problem to fill the seat however they want and I was a fool to take so long to realize that as long as I could still power through all that crap, they would feel no urgency to fill it.

So... sorry for the long rant but it's a revelation I had two weeks ago and just finally made it official Thursday.  So I'm finally off 4 days a week and this will likely make working on the comics much easier, or at the very least much less stressful and tiring.  And as I said, none of this would be possible without all your support.  Thank you so much!
