Endless Mode is here!

The map, system, rewards and data for Endless mode is done!

- All the modes for the 'wave' mode section for the build is complete so give it a blast!

- Killing 250 enemies in the endless mode will grant you the classic ENENRA outfit which we have not seen for a few years, so it has returned (with a better haircut).

- The build is updated, more clean up and fixes have gone in! Hope you enjoy it!

ENENRA BUILD V3.1.05 UPDATE

Hey everyone thanks for your patience!

In this build almost all of the Menu UI has been changed over to a more readable, easier to navigate Menu purely due to how much content is going in, this new menu is futureproof so adding extra modes is simple now!

Now the fun stuff:

  • Score system has been added and these UI to display info in game has also changes!

  • End of mode score results also have been updated with DETAILED stats for people who want those details!

  • Your BEST TIME, SCORE, GRADE now saves according to each wave / duel mode! This is displayed ANY time you select the mode which is easier for everyone!

  • Ballistic cutter has also been finalised so give that a try!

  • New UI reward screen with animations!

    Scores are worked on by taking the best potential score and comparing it to the enemies killed with your current score, lots of maths!

I added a bunch of additions and fixes to the build, you can check the full list below!

The build is now uploaded marked as V3.06, Please give it a try! I also added another outfit for you guys and FINALLY fixed the window issue that's been plaguing the builds!

ADDITIONS

  • Artificial inflation of health for vulnerable enemies, option for this to be added called 'easy execution'

  • Artificial inflation of health for player <20 health for 'come back' moments

  • Create new 'modern' locomotion system (Multiple start and stops for movement speeds added)

  • Add slash marks to all attacks

  • Gave Enenra new eye materials with depth

  • Sprint attacks added for all stances

  • Sprint jump during combat fixed

  • Mirage slash added for Blademaster

  • Stance buffer added to executions

  • Additional stance switch animation for blademaster, in which Enenra cleans the sword of blood

  • Flinch additive animations for projectiles added

  • Added aerial brawler deflection animation for all projectiles

  • Added aerial tempest deflection animation for all projectiles

  • Deflecting now in the air retains aerial position to make it easier to deflect multiple projectiles in the air

  • Physics added on all female characters

  • Adjusted health absorb VFX to be less flashy and more clean

  • Combat vignettes added for Brawler and Tempest during any fight with Mila

  • Additional coat outfit

  • Additional elite ninja outfit

FIXES:

  • Fix window issue, now loads correct window size!

  • Fixed projectile cheese, in which you could fire projectiles at Mila before entering the boss trigger

  • Fixed issue in which delay combos failed to fire after performing an execution

  • Fixed being able to spam dash during the slow motion wave end

  • Fixed camera issues being locked after performing a execution / perfect dodge and then restarting checkpoint

  • Fixed issue where Mila is unable to move after performing a paired attack, and then restarting checkpoint

  • Fix issue with Dodge counters spam

  • Fix cheese against Mila, Forward chase with brawler spam

  • Fix cheese against Mila, Fury base combo spam

  • Fixed references, removed unused code, reduced file size

  • Fixed accelerate jump causing player to begin 'run start' animation loop

  • Fixed issue in which restarting checkpoint BEFORE a wave is spawned resulted in the enemies remaining after re spawning

  • Fixed issue in which having no core weapons resulted in all weapons being selected as 'none'

  • Fixed issue in which each null weapon works correctly with vignettes

  • Retrigger lock on after Vignettes added

Menu update - Outfit Selection

I also added the options to rotate the model and change poses / camera angles within the outfit selection! It was a feature requested but its in now! (Along side a bunch of menu clean up)!

Boss Aura / Act 1 - 4 Update

I have recently been working on the boss arena for Aura, paying homage to the film BLADE with the amount of red and blood used. Check it out the clip!

Aura is also here with her whip which will be considered a blood whip from now, is also modeled and the animations are in, its just creating her logic.

ENENRA BUILD 2.9 IS HERE!

Thank you for your patience! The biggest update is here which includes:

  • Duel Mode - Face off against Mila without having to run through the Act 1 level! You gain 15K Shards for beating her so go wild!

  • Collectibles - Find collectibles in Act 1 and view them in the main menu with the collectible viewer!

  • Model viewer - View models of the characters in the main menu!

  • Outfits - 8 different outfits for you to try out including a female outfit exclusive to Patreon members, which will not be available in the main game!

  • Difficulty select - Select between normal and easy difficulties which change the multiplier on Daemon shards acquired and the behavior of enemies!

  • Save / Load system - A new save load system which should resolve any save issues!
    Please delete any save data to make everything run smoothly by going to USERS > (YOUR COMPUTER NAME) > AppData > Local > ENENRA and delete this folder, You can then launch the build safely!

  • General bug fixing and quality of life improvements including dashing into sprint, UI clean up and menu clean up!

Build 2.9 Upcoming Content!

Hey everyone, thank you for your patience! This is the biggest update so far with a bunch of new additions! Here is the full content for this build:

Here is the current upcoming total content for Build 2.9 for Patreon

Build 2.9 content:

- Act 1 (Chapter 1) Level with combat evaluation and 3 lives

- 4 practice rooms with their own soundtrack

- Practice - 14 Enemies to select with options (E.g unlimited health)

- Practice - Options for player (E.g Unlimited AP / HP)

- 3 wave modes with their own soundtrack and end screens

- Boss rush mode with 1 boss currently

- Collectibles in Act 1, Can be displayed in main menu - Collection

- 8 outfits to choose and use in all modes

- Basic model viewer for viewing models

- Game options including dynamic camera toggle, lock on toggle, delay combo assistance.

- Difficulty selection with EASY and NORMAL to choose from, with a multiplier for difficulties above EASY (Multiplies shards earned)

- Purchasable techniques for Blademaster, hand to hand and Tempest

- Purchasable abilities for acceleration core

Collectible, Inspection and Outfit selection

We now have:

- Collectible system with inspection and descriptions (An easy way to track collectibles as they count towards outfit unlocks)
- Outfit selection with simple description
- Menu animations + Post process animations

These systems will also be added to the upcoming Patreon Build Version 2.9 so you can experience and play with these features too!

ENENRA BUILDS 2.8 IS HERE!

Thank you for your patience! The next update is here with a huge change list!

Here are the changes that have gone in:

Shifted to 360 degree input checks for Free flow on controller (Was previously using 8 way movement causing odd moments to miss) Keyboard continues using 8 way movement checks.

  • Addition of Fury variation for hand to hand, Blademaster now owns Manifold Edge and Strand Blade, Tempest now owns Thunder clap and Ballistic cutter (2 variations per stance)

  • Ability to purchase weapon / stance variations

  • Shards are now displayed on message pop up boxes when required

  • Adjusted Izuna drop to have new system and camera animation.

  • New executions for new stance variations.

  • Dual blades have their own executions now

  • Adjusted physical sound SFX, was too repetitive and was not using SFX master class.

  • Various bug fixes from the build bugs.

  • Swapped out all enemy models in chapter 01 with Grunts to reflect the story and removed name plate introductions. New vignette VFX for main menu.

  • Additional weapon stinger attacks

  • Fixed YES / NO positions in menus

  • Moved skipping cut-scenes / return to ship from tutorial to main pause menu

  • Spawned enemies now have a delay before they can attack, previously attacking AS they spawned which was unfair

  • Fixed Sword remaining visible after Kumichu grapple

Fixed Kumichi counter barge, now uses root motion to close the distance so not odd sliding during interrupting it

  • Fixed ballistic cutter wave properties so enemy is not carried off into distance

  • Onscreen indicator reworked and is more visible for off screen attacks

  • Added menu option to turn off screen indicator on/off

  • Added sounds to fury stance mix up attacks

  • Fixed issue with camera remaining zoomed in when interrupting a chase attack (aerial to ground) with an accelerated slam

  • Added a right pose / left pose system for dual blades to have similar smoothness to animations recovery periods

  • Visual VFX added for changing stances, making it easier to visually see a stance change, removed weapon dust VFX for optimization and cleaning clutter, fixed weapon dissolve in rotation to start from the hilt

  • Stance change animation added for each stance when the player is not moving / attacking

  • Fixed issue where air volley reactions were not snapping to face

  • Swapped out all enemy models in chapter 01 with Grunts to reflect the story and removed name plate introductions. 

    There are some odd issues in the packaged build such as trails not matching their weapon but this will be fixed, I just wanted to give you guys an update!

Checkpoint Restart and Lives!

This was widely requested during the last week of play tests and will be added to the upcoming build update! (2.7)

A proper death screen which allows you to restart from a checkpoint (If you reach one) and count down lives, giving a proper lose screen with the option to return to the game or main menu!

My dear Daemon core experts, Thank you so much for your patience! After weeks of cleaning up, bug fixing and making the overall experience solid...

THE DEMO IS READY TO TEST!

Try the story mode where you can take on Mila, the blink core specialist!

Try wave mode, having multiple types of enemies, earning Daemon shards to spend on unlocking new abilities and combos!

and Give practice mode a try now with options for the player e.g Unlimited health and ability points and enemy options e.g Unlimited health!

Additional notes:

- Daemon shards are saved at the end of each experience! Collecting them and exiting will erase the shards you have accumulated during that 'run'

- You can reset saves to clear all accumulated abilities and shards in the settings menu!
