Why is it so hard to consider ourselves perfect just as we are? Where did we develop this false perception that perfection is located anywhere but where we are standing. Because we’re caught up in the idea that the grass is greener on the other side even though there are flowers blossoming beneath our feet. But if the idea of perfection is different for each and everyone of us then why do we care about being perfect for anyone else but ourselves? And even those who claim their doing it “for themselves”... why do they hurt them selves? Stick themselves? Inflate and deflate themselves? Reshape and smooth themselves? Do everything they can to be anything but themselves?
I think perfection is loving yourself. Perfecting the inside is the only way to achieve real perfection. External changes are temporary, were all going to crinkle and wrinkle, there will come a day where the only thing that will matter about you is what you’ve created internally.
I challenge you to Be rebellious in this world of facetune and body shaming, and love yourself just as you are. Invest in your mind and health. And aim to perfect YOUR SOUL❤️
