This release adds new weather data source, GPS location, environment effects and enhancements.
Implementing a new weather provider and adding support for multiple ones turned out to be more work than I initially anticipated 😅.

Hi guys,
Its been a while since last update.. was busy learning Win2D and DirectX shaders for the past few weeks and thinking of different ways to integrate it with Lively.
Thought of making an app to learn faster, decided to go with a simple weather app since its very visual in nature:
Lively just got smarter with AI.. introducing first of many to come AI feature "Depth Wallpapers" - using Machine Learning to predict distance of objects from the camera and then use GPU shaders to create 3D image!

AI Depth Wallpapers
In this demo regular pictures are transformed into 3D like by estimating the distance(depth) of objects(white - closer, darker - further away) from the camera using machine learning.
For privacy everything is run locally on the host system, no data is sent outside for processing.

The idea is people get a quick feel of what it is like using Lively by changing the background and customizing. The color scheme is kept same as the old website for familiarity.
Thanks to optimizations and real-time GPU shaders the whole site is around 1MB in size (less than a floppy!)
On mobile devices the UI is hidden, will need to think of something better later.

Finally released this "Simple System 3D" wallpaper.. uses Lively music, hardware and visualizer api all in a single project. Definitely overkill running this 3D scene.. think of it more like a tech demo, the Simple system with 2D art is more practical

Just an idea I had, there are machine learning algorithms that can estimate depth of images and using that can create parallax or depth effect wallpaper as shown above.
The challenge is to run the machine learning locally (extra download) so that any picture can be animated seamlessly.

This update focuses on improving audio visualizers and user experience.
The orbits visualizer shown in the video will release soon (still working on it.)
