Full Reveal - Stepford Wife
Added 2019-03-30 22:25:51 +0000 UTCThis is the first act I ever submitted to BHOF. It usually has higher hair, but I was rolling from one thing to the next and didn't want to mess up my current coif.
This act is 11 years old, but I haven't performed it since I moved to Texas. While I have replaced the underbits from the original costume, I used the original trim on the replacement bits. I've performed the act in large theaters, on bar stages, and even on the deck of a dive boat. It's been a trusted friend over the years, and it's generally a crowd pleaser.
Well, it was. I feel like I'm done performing this particular act. I have three acts (including this one) that have a "surprise" music shift, and one of them has won awards. It's time to put this ol' pal on the shelf. I can still use the parts for other things, but I think the Stepford Wife can retire in peace.
