Where did I leave that inspiration?

It's not under the bottle of 12 year Redbreast. That I can guarantee.

You guys get the behind the scenes stuff, which means you get to see what makes a Snapper.

I'm having a tough time finding inspiration right now. I usually have an easy time just creating. It could be the heavy writing workload that has re-routed my creativity. (One of my hustles is as a copywriter.) It could also be real-life nonsense that has me a bit distracted. (December was not as fun as I would have preferred. My dad was hospitalized and my step-brother died within days of each other, and Mr. Snapper had his trip to ER on a shoot day. )

The point is that I'm human, just as human as each of you. I face challenges to my typical free-flowing creative well. It's always a period of growth, working through those challenges and sparking off something that I think is pretty cool.

I need to find an awesome museum I haven't visited in Dallas. I used to go to the Getty in Los Angeles when I needed inspirado. I don't have that place here yet.

I'm working on a rote but lovely commission while trying to find an amazing idea for the look of my undergarments for the next big number. I'm also writing on the next murder mystery.

I want to find a choreographer who can help me be amazing, and I want to find a gown for hosting the murder show that fits my very narrow criteria of a great gown. (This is why I wind up making so many things for myself.) Maybe outside factors can provide some inspiration in other areas.

I'll find solutions. I always do. I just need to find some space first, and that will let my mind wander enough to have a tiny eureka moment.

As always, I appreciate you.
