August Update!

I don't often post updates on here, I just kinda draw stuff and that's it, but I thought I should probably explain what's been happening this month because it's uhh...hoo boy.

So earlier in the month, my computer I normally use to draw has effectively been bricked by some strange problem that I can't seem to fix where it won't even give me the boot menu. So that blows. I had a lot of my drawing stuff on that computer as well as other irreplaceable resources.

At the moment I'm using my old 2014 Dell as a backup until I can scrounge up enough money for a new computer. However, this week, I had to do some work in my backyard which involved getting down on the ground and cutting some trees.

Unbeknownst to me, the plants I had to kneel near were POISON OAK. And I don't know if any of you have ever had poison oak before but it's WAY worse than poison ivy. Oak causes a horrible, itchy, painful rash that develops into blisters. So in order to draw I have to set my swollen, blistery, flayed skin on the table for long periods of time which I can't really do.

I'm not saying this as an excuse but when drawing is actually painful, it slows down the speed at which I can do it. I'll be better in a week or so and September should hopefully be better.
