Hello everyone!

We’re here with a decision to share. Previously, we asked how you would feel if we released an incomplete game as a full version (due to Steam not allowing for Adult Games to release in Early Access). Thank you all for voting in the poll, leaving comments, and sending messages on Discord.

The poll was perhaps our most popular one yet, with 160 participants. 15% of you said you wouldn’t be satisfied if we released version "0.6" as "1.0" and continued updating it. We admit that this result put us on the edge, and we could have considered this move. However, we’ve decided to try finishing the game properly and release it when it’s truly ready.

We wanted to keep the "fake early release" option as a last resort, only if we’re pushed against the wall. Instead, we planned to release a few more demo updates to attract more people to our Patreon. Unfortunately, we’ve received more bad news: adult games on Steam can no longer be updated with new adult content. All +18 content can only be added as DLC. This means our backup plan no longer makes sense, and we can’t add new content to the demo version either.

All that’s left for us is to grit our teeth and finish Komadori Inn. We’ll update the Steam demo only with fixes, changes, and additions to the game mechanics. We might prepare more for itchio, but we’ll see, as every public release takes a lot of our time.

In the meantime, we’re working on the next version, which we should publish soon—in the next week or the following one.
