Komadori Weekly - a Big Bad (Proba)Blow

We invite you to read about what’s coming in the next version of Komadori Inn. Unfortunately, we also have some bad news to share.

What’s coming?

Version 0.5.5 is already available for $1 Patrons—you can find it in the pinned post at the top of the page. Now, let’s talk about what you can expect in the next update.

Mugenji has already announced on our Discord that he’s working on improving mouse and keyboard compatibility. We want to ensure you can seamlessly use both control methods simultaneously, as this has been a frequent request in feedback about the game.

Of course, there will also be a new quest—this time for Tsubame—which means all the girls will reach intimacy level 4. But wait, what’s this? It looks like someone’s about to fight! If you want to see the illustrations teasing the upcoming events and Tsubame’s lewd scene, check out this post.

We also think we might be able to include another quest in the next version—this time for Fuyuko. This quest will unlock the doggy-style position, kick off the fifth intimacy levels for our heroines, and bring us one step closer to the first threesome. Whether we can actually include it this time will become clear soon.

Oh No... Censorship Strikes Again

Unfortunately, we’ve received some bad news that significantly impacts our plans. As we mentioned earlier, we were aiming to release Komadori Inn in Early Access on Steam around October or November. However, we’ve heard from other developers that Steam has stopped accepting adult games for Early Access. There’s no official confirmation yet, people are speculating and there aren't many reports yet, so we'll try to do it anyway and see what will happen.

While we’re not worried about the future of the project itself, Early Access was supposed to allow us to finish Komadori Inn at a steady pace and potentially hire additional team members to speed up production. Now, not only will we be unable to release the game sooner, but financial constraints might also extend the production timeline. That’s why your support is more crucial than ever—thank you so much for standing by us.

By the way, we know that other games manage to raise significantly more on Patreon than we do. If any of you have ideas on how we could encourage more people to support us, we’d be incredibly grateful for your input.

Despite these challenges, we’re pushing forward, and development on Komadori Inn continues! We’ll see you in the next post.
