First of all, we would like to apologize for the bugs in version 0.4.1 that crashed the game and made it impossible to go past a few moments. Sorry.
On the other hand, we thank you very much for all the reports. We are glad that you are testing our game and that releasing the Alpha version makes sense. Thanks to this, "Komadori Inn" can only be better. Thank you.
Right after releasing version 0.4.1, we started working on a fairly large change to one of the main elements of the game (more on that in a moment). So we couldn't upload the fixes quickly, because other things were being rebuilt and they would cause other problems again. So you have to wait for version 0.4.2. Thank you for your patience!
And what's coming?
As always - the final content of the next version might be different.
Just to emphasize this again, the next version will contain bug fixes from the previous version.
The big change I mentioned is the MC's energy system. When the game moved from the intro to the regular gameplay, we felt that energy management was unsatisfactory and needed to be rebuilt. To make "Komadori Inn" more engaging, we are making a few changes in this area. We believe that they will simply make the game much more fun. The main changes include:
Sleep at night is automatic and forced (to be able to move at night, you need to buy one of the items available in the shop after completing quest 004)
Sleep always restores 100% energy
The energy cost of actions will be more varied, and some actions will not take time (we will be adding more possibilities in future versions)
MC perks will change
And more
Switching to a normal gameplay loop allows you to work at the reception desk multiple times. This meant that the guest schedule had to allow for continuous gameplay. We thought about it and keeping the schedule in its old form would be very troublesome, and let's be honest, we don't care about the realism of this element. At the same time, we came to the conclusion that guests asking over and over again only about their room numbers was a bit boring, so we filled the computer screen with various information that we can now be asked about. Working at the reception desk immediately looks more interesting.

In addition, a small change is also coming to the bar. We received very mixed opinions about it - for some the work was too slow, for others definitely too fast. To try to please everyone, we will introduce an automatic correction of the pace of guests arriving. When the game sees that someone is faster at making drinks, the next customers will arrive earlier.
Version 0.4.2 will allow you to finish quest 007 and it will include a scene, a photo of which you could see at the beginning of this post. Yes, our relationship with Fuyuko is getting hot. In addition, we will also introduce mechanics related to quest 008, namely carrying the guests' luggage. This will be a task lasting many in-game days, and its reward will be an animated, hot scene. What will the scene be about? You will help decide, in the upcoming polls!
More importantly, version 0.4.2 will allow you to receive next skill points - one for Fuyuko after quest 007 and your very first one for Shun, which you will receive along with a short, cute and funny scene.
